In February, a ransomware attack against Cloud service provider Accellion sent shockwaves through the cyber security industry.
This was one of the worst months we’ve ever seen in terms of problems reported by businesses using the program. From the 118 occurrences that were reported to the public, 43 were ransomware attacks.
While we had stated not so long ago that businesses had begun to turn the tide against ransomware attackers, it is evident that scammers are redoubling their efforts.
